Welcome Walkers!
Walking is one of the best and easiest forms of exercise. In Quiché, Guatemala walking is the primary way to get around as there are mostly well-worn paths throughout the communities and limited trucks or vehicles for the bumpy dirt roads that hug the mountainsides. Here is a taste of what it is like getting around in Quiché and a little about our Run:Hope education program.
Our Hosts: Avah, Chloe & Dorothy will welcome you at our Run:Hope walk/run at East River Park as our hosts. They just served with us in the Run:Hope teacher conference in Guatemala this past July, so they will be happy to share with you firsthand experience of meeting and serving our Run:Hope teachers.
Our Run:Hope Ambassadors![]() The Lee family have a special connection to Guatemala as Mike and Olivia traveled and served there together before they became a family of five. Grab your water bottle and come join the Lee family at East River Park on Saturday, October 22nd in support of our Run:Hope teachers and students.
